DAY 1 | Airport to Chilaw | 1 Hour

Meet and assist on arrival at Airport by a Miracle Destination Representative. Transfer from Airport to Chilaw ( Approx 2 Hrs drive) Check in at Anantaya Resort . Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and Overnight Stay at Anantaya Hotel – Chilaw ( Standard Room)

DAY 2 | Chilaw to Wilpatthu | 1.5 Hour

Breakfast at Anantaya Hotel – Chilaw In the morning visit Munneswarm Hindu Kovil in Chilaw. On completion of the visit proceed to Wilpattu National Park . (Approx 1 H 30 Mins Drive) Check in at Mahoora Tented Camp Site. Lunch will be served at the camp site. Free time till late afternoon. Late in the afternoon do a safari of Wilpattu National Park. This is the land haunted by big cats of the island paradise. Recording a vast number of Sri Lankan Leopards – smarter looking than its Indian cousin – Wilpattu National Park has been named due to ‘Willus’ (Natural Lakes) studded throughout the park. Apart from big cats & precious flora, the park is well known for a healthy population of elephant, sloth bear, spotted deer, mongoose and water buffalo. Do not be surprised if the squeal of a helpless wild boar pierce through your ears, just observe closer and you might be presented with a fantastic hunt because it is all action that speaks at Wilpattu. On completion of the safari , return to Camp site. Dinner & Overnight stay at Mahoora Tented Camp ( Standard Option ).

DAY 3 | Wilpatthu National Park | 1.5 Hour

Early in the morning do another safari at Wilpattu National Park. Picnic breakfast will be arranged for the safari . Return to the camp site for lunch . Free time till evening . Dinner will be served around the camp fire & If interested Post dinner night walk could be done with camp naturalist. Overnight stay at Mahoora Tented Camp.

DAY 4 | Wilpatthu to Kandy

Breakfast at Mahoora Tented Camp . In the morning transfer from Wilpattu National Park to Kandy. ( Approx 5 Hours drive) Check in at Hotel Suisse . Rest of the day at leisure. If interested enjoy an evening walk around Kandy Lake. Last ruled by King Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe – before it was brought under the British rule in 1815, Kandy – the World Heritage Site & last royal capital of Sri Lankan kings – crafts an array of culture, history and heritage in the minds of visitors across the globe. Dinner and Overnight Stay at Hotel Suisse ( Standard Room)

DAY 5 | Kandy to Mahiyanganaya | 2 Hours

Breakfast at Hotel Suisse In the morning transfer to Mahiyanganaya ( Approx 2 Hrs drive) A day to discover ” Aboriginal ” people of Sri Lanka Or ” Veddas ” Sri Lanka’s indigenous inhabitants, the Veddas (Forest-dwellers) as they call themselves , preserve a direct line of descent from the island’s original Neolithic community dating from at least 16,000 BC and probably far earlier according to current scientific opinion. Even today, the surviving Vedda community retains much of its own distinctive cyclic worldview, prehistoric cultural memory, and time-tested knowledge of their semi-evergreen dry monsoon forest habitat that has enabled their ancestor-revering culture to meet the diverse challenges to their collective identity and survival. Spend a day with them to experience their life style , food , customs , hunting & survival techniques. Enjoy a meal with them. In the evening return to Kandy. Dinner and Overnight Stay at Hotel Suisse.

DAY 6 | Mahiyanganaya to Ella | 6 Hours train journey

Breakfast at Hotel Suisse A Day to experience local train ride to tea country . In the morning board a train bound to Ella . This is a six hour train journey through mountains covered with tea plantations & you may also see few panoramic waterfalls. Upon reaching Ella train station , you will be transferred to Elle Jungle Inn Resort. Rest of the evening leisure at the hotel. Dinner and Overnight Stay at Elle Jungle Inn Resort ( Standard Room)

DAY 7 | Elle Jungle Inn Resort | 6 Hours train journey

Breakfast at Hotel Suisse A Day to experience local train ride to tea country . In the morning board a train bound to Ella . Breakfast Ella Jungle Inn. Late in the morning transfer to Yala . ( Approx 2 Hrs Drive) Check in at Cinnamon Wild Hotel. Rest of the day leisure at the hotel. Dinner and Overnight Stay at Cinnamon Wild Resort ( Jungle Chalet ).

DAY 9 | Yala to Galle

Early in the morning do safari of Yala National Park by a jeep. Spreading into a vast 1259 Km2 Yala – with its glory spinning around vast grasslands, shrubs, tanks and dunes – rightfully is the heartland of wildlife in Sri Lanka. As your jeep rumble through the giant gates of Yala, you are not only stepping into the most visited national park in the country, but also the lands of a civilization which thrived during the reign of Sri Lankan kings. You name it, and Yala has it! Its usual inmates cover herds of elephant, sloth bear, spotted dear, jackal, extensively populated birdlife as well as the highest density of leopards in the world that garnish the park to be one of the finest destinations in the country. Feel the rough track as your jeep thunders over rocks and swish passing narrow bends for an exhilarating experience blended with the cries of wilderness under the tropical sun. Return to hotel for breakfast . Get refreshed & proceed to Galle. (Approx 3 Hrs Drive) Do a panoramic drive of Galle Fort . Proceed to Hikkaduwa & Check in at Hikka Tranz by Cinnamon.
